Council Member Dean Peranteaux Term 2021-2022
210 E. Main St, Riverton WY 82501 307-851-0006
I moved to Fremont County more than 30 years ago, after serving a tour of duty in the United States Air Force. I met and married my wife Stacey and have been a proud resident of Riverton ever since. Together we own and operate several local, technology-based businesses and have a grown son, Rylan. In my free time you can find me enjoying the wild beauty of Wyoming by air (I am an avid pilot), by motorcycle or on skis.
Over the years I’ve been honored to serve on a number of boards, including 8 years on the Fremont County School District #25 Board. I was the board chairman of the Northwest BOCES Children's Center for 7 years. I’ve served the FCSD#25 Recreation Board for the last 12 years. I've also served as an active member of the Riverton Airport Board for more than 12 years.
I believe in the power of volunteerism and have witnessed the incredible strength of this community rallying behind important projects–and getting them done. Community service has always been an important part of my life and I look forward to serving the people of Riverton as a member of the City Council.
Council Member Kyle Larson Term 2015-2022
1007 N 16th E, Riverton WY 82501 307-267-7530
I graduated from the University of Utah in 1968 with a B.S. degree in Chemistry and a minor in Business. After working 17 years in the chemical industry for Kennecott Copper in Utah, I moved to Riverton to accept a Plant Manager position with Koch Sulfur Products and Chemical Marketing Services, where I remained for 10 years. In 1995 I started working in the mortgage origination business, organizing and funding Allstate Home Mortgage Inc. in 1996. For several years running I was their top producer, accounting for 75% of the company's total production. I became Branch Manager for Acceptance Capital Mortgage Inc. in 2009 and remain in that capacity to date. In addition to my 20 years in the mortgage origination business, I helped organize the Wyoming Association of Mortgage Brokers where I was elected to serve as Treasurer. I consider it an honor to serve the citizens of my ward as their City Council Member.

I was born and raised in Riverton, graduating from Wind River High School. I then raised a family in Riverton, having two children, Kris and Kourtney. I graduated with two degrees from Central Wyoming College – an AA in General Studies and an AAS in Business Management – and now work for the State of Wyoming. I have a long history of service to the community, including serving as an Election Judge, current Head Election Judge, long-time Contributor and Designer to the CES Festival of Trees, Empty Bowl, Night to Shine, Fremont County Business Leadership Network, local Softball, Riverton City Parks Committee, Christian Motorcyclists Association, Leadership Fremont County, Heart of a Leader and many others. Riverton is a wonderful, family-oriented community and it is my home. I am proud to serve and happy to make any contribution I can toward the betterment of our community.
My husband David and I enjoy our fur babies – Rottweilers, Max and Chesty – spending time with family, riding motorcycles, attending local events and charitable functions, traveling, watching Riverton School Sports, Wyoming & Kentucky football and basketball and enjoying the outdoors.
I feel a great sense of pride in my community. I have always desired to serve, and I am extremely honored that the citizens of Riverton have put their trust in me to be a force for positive change for our community. I feel it is very important to give back to the community that has given so much to me and my family. I look forward to serving my community, working hard and being a positive force for our community.

I graduated from Riverton High School in 1978 and from Central Wyoming College in 1980, earning a degree in Business Management. My wife June (Osborne) Bailey and I are both life-long residents of Fremont County and together have nine children and six grandchildren. I enjoy spending time with my family, participating in political events, staying abreast of legislative activities at the local, state and federal levels, and piloting private aircraft.
At the age of 12 years, I entered the family business as a full-serve island attendant and have worked full time in the business since 1976. Working my way through almost every position in the company, learning and moving up the ladder, I became President and CEO of Bailey Enterprises in 2002. Whether working at one of our convenience or tire stores, or pouring coffee at the café, I proudly wear the company’s uniform along with my employees.
Feeling the importance of being active in the local community, I am currently serving as the Chairman of the Riverton Police Foundation. I have also served as Vice Chairman on the City of Riverton Planning Commission, past President of the Leadership Fremont County Board, past President of the Riverton Business Leadership Network, past President of the Sertoma Club (now the REACH Foundation), and past President of the Riverton Kiwanis Club. I look forward to serving Riverton as a member of the City Council.
Council Member Lindsey Cox Term 2020-2024 307-851-5469
I was raised in Riverton, graduating with the class of 2002 from Riverton High School. In 2004, I completed an Associates of Applied Science in Photography at the Art Institute of Colorado in Denver, Colorado. Upon completion of my degree, I moved back to Riverton and established my business, L. Photography. I married my childhood crush and Riverton native, Jon Cox, in 2005, and shortly after, we started our family in the community we love and call home. Most evenings, I can be found at a baseball, football, or soccer field—or in a gym supporting Riverton teams and taking sports photos. This suits me well, as I am most often chasing one of my three sons to the same arena.
I believe in the strength of a small town. I grew up down the street from my husband, Jon, and his family, and I love that we share a deep history from growing up together in this town. We are now raising our three boys here, hoping to provide the same roots and foundation that we have been blessed with by our families and community.
In addition to running my own business, I currently work in the front office for Riverton High School. I am proud to be from Riverton, proud to call Riverton home, and honored to serve the school district and community. Dedicated to improving and serving our community and youth, I enjoy volunteering and participating in school programs, supporting and shopping in local business, and helping with civic programs and services. I currently serve as the President of Riverton Little League, and the Riverton AAU Volleyball Club, and volunteer and support numerous youth organizations in the community. I am committed to enhancing youth and civic programs and services, as well as encouraging involvement from community partners.
I have witnessed the support that this small but mighty town has provided to so many—to those fighting for their lives and those who may need a hand up. I have a deep sense of pride in calling Riverton home, and am committed to our city, county, state, and our futures. Riverton is home—and I am honored that my community has provided me with the support and trust to work for and serve our home town.
