You can place solid waste resulting from or incidental to residential, community, trade or business activities. Please no ashes, street sweepings, dead animals, tires or hazardous waste.

My trash won't all fit in my dumpster, can I place it beside it?

No, the City does not pick up trash left beside the dumpster. Also, please do not overfill the dumpster as this might cause the truck to spill the garbage onto the streets.

What do I do with my container if my pick up day is an official City Holiday?

If the Holiday falls on a Friday, your pickup will be the Thursday before. If the Holiday falls on any other working day, your pickup will be the day after the holiday. Please see the sanitation schedule for specific Holidays. The City will also advertise here and Channel 11 for changes to our sanitation schedule.

My container is broken. How do I go about getting it fixed?

Contact the Sanitation Department with the request. We will then have you place the broken one at the curb and we will come and exchange it with a new one.

When will the City have their Spring Cleanup week?

With the implementation of the tipping fees by the FCSWDD, the City can no longer offer to do the Spring Cleanup week. We are looking into creating a Bag & Tag system where the resident purchases a tag for large items at City Hall and schedules a pickup. Look in the News section for this program.

I am moving in/out and have a large amount of trash, what can I do?

We can offer larger containers to help you in this situation, please contact the Public Works Department at 856-3687 to see what can be done.
