Parks & Recreation
The City of Riverton has seven City parks and 8 miles of recreational paths that the Parks and Recreation employees maintain. These parks are Aspen Park, City Park, Jaycee Park, Monroe Park, Rein Park, Sunset Park, and Teter Park. City employees take care of the parks by mowing and trimming the grass, maintaining the various amenities, and are responsible for the sprinkler systems. The parks have a variety of amenities available, such as picnic shelters, picnic tables, barbeque grills, tennis courts, basketball courts, horseshoe pits, baseball diamond, restrooms, electricity, playground equipment, skate park, frisbee golf course, and a pond at Jaycee Park.
